Introduction BeVo Webinar “Physiology of the digestive system”.
We need proteins, fats, carbohydrates and fibre for all our bodily functions. These basic food components provide the necessary amino acids, sugars and essential fatty acids. Perfect digestion and a balanced diet guarantee a healthy body and mind. In foot reflexology, we rightly pay a lot of attention to treating the digestive organs. To correctly and properly explain the different organs to our clients, a good basic knowledge of the physiology of digestion is essential.
In this webinar, we will look at :
1. The different stages of digestion.
2. Associated organs.
3. What happens physiologically in these different phases.
4. Pathology and directions for healthy diet and digestion.
You will learn important things like :
5. The importance of heartburn, the occurrence of acid reflux and advice on how to regulate it.
6. The special composition of the intestinal mucosa and digestion of proteins, sugars, fats and fibre.
7. The innervation of the digestive system.
8. Composition of intestinal flora (microbiota) and its importance for health.
9. The detoxification stages of the liver and its importance in energy absorption.
10. Recognise symptoms associated with certain organs and give advice on how to improve this.
In-depth knowledge of the therapist is the guarantee of appropriate treatment and correct information for the client.

Nico Pauly started his career as an independent physiotherapist, where he soon realised that his knowledge and skills were not enough to solve intractable pain and conditions. He then specialised in manual therapy, neurodynamics and craniosacral therapy. He participated in seminars and master courses by David Butler and Lorimer Moseley aimed at understanding, treating and supporting patients with chronic pain and symptoms. Through numerous literary studies, he gained expertise in the neurophysiology of pain. In the 1980s, he expanded his knowledge of foot reflexology with Hanne Marquardt and of manual neurotherapy with Walter Froneberg, both practising in Germany. He soon integrated his knowledge of pain with the development of manual neurotherapy and foot reflexology, creating a holistic treatment model. For 45 years, he has accompanied and treated people suffering from complex chronic diseases.

REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION
Subscription and Confirmation: Registration for our events is done by means of a completed registration form. BeVo confirms the registration by e-mail, which establishes the participation agreement.
Cancel: Cancellation should be notified in writing or by e-mail to event@bevo-belgië.org. Please note that registration falls under the services referred to in Art. VI, 53, 12° WER for which the right of withdrawal is excluded.
Cancellation period: Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days after registration. If you cancel after this period, you will be refunded 75% of the amount, unless the registration takes place within 1 month before the event itself. In that case, the following conditions apply:
Specific arrangement for online events with inclusion: In case of cancellation up to 1 month before the start of an online event, 100% of the registration fee will be charged. Cancellation is then no longer possible as the footage can be viewed for a longer period of time.
